West Bengal University of Health Sciences

West Bengal University of Health Sciences was established on 1st January 2003 after the 'The West Bengal University Of Health Sciences Act - 2002' was passed by the West Bengal Legislature. It was established to ensure systematic teaching and research of Unani System of Medicine, Nursing Education, Modern System of Medicine, Ayurvedic System of Medicine, Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Dental Education, Pharmacy Education, Speech Therapy, Education on Laboratory Technology, Physiotherapy, and Education and other paramedical courses. The University offers MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BPT, B.Sc (H) in Nursing, M.Sc. (Nursing) and B. Pharma courses.
